The Vermont Restoration Council (VTRC) is dedicated to the restoration of people, our environment, and our communities to a state of health, vitality, and well-being. Established on July 9, 2021, VTRC operates based on Natural Law principles and the core tenet of "do no harm."
Our Mission
The mission of the Vermont Restoration Council is to assist in the restoration of people, our environment, and our communities to a state of health, vitality, and well-being. We will assist individuals and communities throughout Vermont in the organization and undertaking of public benefit projects and programs that will protect and ensure a quality of life for all. We are committed to and grounded in the core principle of Natural Law—"do no harm."

We are each Sovereign Beings, Free to create, with collaboration, cooperation, and compassion in our lives and in the world. We the people of Vermont recognize Natural Law and are guided by Natural Law to protect all life: plants, water, animals, the environment and human beings that live here in community on this land called Vermont...

Member Attributes
- Heart centered individuals who agree to live the tenets of freedom: committed to cooperation, collaboration, and compassion and to be of service to all and do no harm.
- Strong and enduring willingness to show up
- Have space internally and externally, to show up and follow through (i.e. not too busy, not too many unresolved issues)
- Have essential, relevant, and useful resources to offer in the building of our council (i.e. IT skills, budgeting and finance skills, group dynamics skills, marketing/public relations, security and legal expertise, etc.)
- An ability to recognize accountability in themselves and others and speak about it.
- A willingness to listen to and respect all voices and to make decisions by a consent process (Dynamic governance)
- Effective boundaries spiritually, emotionally, and physically—a safe person.
- Live in and Love Vermont, the people and all life living on the land of Vermont
- Demonstrate and live with camaraderie, friendliness, and mutual respect.
